Dad Shank was a wonderful, kind and soft spoken Dad & Grandpa. Even though I was his daughter-in -law he always told everyone she is my daughter. Dad Shank was an avid Chicago Bears fan with Brian, Katherine & Emily. It made him happy and tickled his heart that his granddaughters enjoyed football too. He was Katherine & Emily's proud Grandpa and always their number one fan thru the years. We will miss him and our hearts will hurt, but we will have all the wonderful memories. We know now he is in our Savior's loving arms enjoying life eternal. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness." 2 Timothy 4:7 & 8
